Glass & Stone Coffee Table Is it art … or is it a coffee table? BOTH! This spectacular, custom-fabricated, one-of-a-kind, glass & stone coffee table is a stunning showpiece and never fails to receive compliments from guests. It was fabricated by first securing (legally) rocks from the Mogollon Rim in Arizona. Rocks were chosen for their interest, texture, color, and – most importantly – shape. When you look at the images listed, you will see these are no ordinary rocks! Then we commissioned a custom glass top from internationally acclaimed glass artist, Greg Schadt, who uses a massive 7’ x 15’ kiln when fabricating a glass tabletop of this size. He combined glass, metal, color, and sand blasting to perfect the glass top. We actually watched the glass start to melt as the temperature in his kiln reached 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit! We have enjoyed this fabulous art piece as a coffee table for several years and it is only being sold due to a major medical situation forcing us to dramatically downsize. Our total spend to fabricate this spectacular coffee table was $9,300. We will entertain any serious offer (Note: Lowball offers will be ignored). The dimensions of this coffee table are: 55” W x 40” D x 19” H. The weight can’t be determined because we don’t have scales large enough for the rocks, however, two strong people can lift them to put on to your truck.
