Speakers in of themselves have amazing bass and clarity for their size and the subwoofer adds that little extra kick to make this system versatile for almost all types of music. Subwoofer is passive so you don’t need to plug it into power to drive them, just power from the amplifier, lile you would with any other speakers and then the subwoofer has speaker outputs which it crosses over and blends the 2 together. Price is $120 OBO
