Sam sold me a car with a failing transmission despite claiming there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. I discovered this issue when I took the car in to patch a tire and investigate an occasional burning smell. When I purchased the car, it had an overpowering air freshener or perfume scent. While pleasant at the time, I now suspect it was used by either the previous owner or dealership to mask the smell of the burning transmission.
Now that the perfume has faded, the car primarily smells like cigarette smoke. I’ve only driven about 500 miles since buying it, but the odor has been noticeable since day one. I also noticed acceleration issues at lower speeds, though I couldn’t pinpoint the cause.
I can’t say with absolute certainty whether the dealership misled me intentionally or unintentionally. However, if you’re considering purchasing a vehicle from them, proceed with caution. Insist on full disclosure about any problems-engine, transmission, underbody rust, mechanical failures, or electrical issues-and consider recording the conversation for future reference.

My sister and I had the pleasure of dealing with Sam and when I tell you he is amazing. He was very professional, helped you throughout the whole process, even went above and beyond with helping with secure insurance. Even though I didn’t purchase a car today my sister did and she’s been smiling ever since. If you’re ever looking for a car, this is the place to go and Sam is the best guy for the job.
