Italjet RX 50 Italian dirt bike(Does NOT Run)

This is a 70 s dirt bike that were very popular way back I have owned it since the late 90 s. One of my projects I never got to. I purchased one of these in 1980 for my son's 7th birthday from more power machines on Studebaker in Norwalk. He still has it And it still runs. I bought this to rebuild but life has its s twists and turns. The piston was busted and bottom end does not spin through but will go back and forth.I have a new rod and top end gasket set to go with it. Trans feels good and shifts through all gears breaks work well it is complete except air cleaner, I can't find it. Gas tank sticker says (italjet limited series special completion grand national champion 1976-80) Great little bike that needs a restoration. They are few and far between you hardly ever see them. It has the certification sticker on the tank still that it was for competition. Will trade for a Honda 90 trail or vintage 125 enduro/ trail bike. In fair shape. Low ballers WILL be Ignored!!!
