Description

Antique Chinese wood lined , bronze box / casket with high relief dragons chasing sacred flaming pearls. Has hinged lid; box is airtight. Stamped China. Measures 9.5” x 3” x 2” tall to top of raised décor on lid. Weighty 2 1/2 lbs. Great antique condition. Bottom needs to be polished - it appears that residue (from possibly felt) accounts for dark areas - as it seems to scrape off - but I’m not sure. See pictures of similar items for reference - ranging from $70 with broken hinge to over $200.
