Description

I selling my 1997 Honda Odyssey LX for $1200. This 7 seat minivan is safe and was very reliable, I drove my kids to school in it every day and it had never let us down. A few performance upgrades combined with its rarity c make it the coolest minivan anywhere you drive it. Proof that style and cool is not the exclusive domain of the newest and most expensive. My Minivan is an extremely rare 1st Generation (“RA1” 1994 to 1999) Honda Odyssey. CARS*com & Auto-trader, neither has a single 1st generation Honda Odyssey listed for sale within a 500 mile radius of mine at ANY PRICE - NONE. There are no 1st Gen Honda Odyssey listed in EBay as of my writing this ad. Of the handful you might find for sale nationwide, mine has the fewest miles with 126k on the odometer - that’s UNDER 6k miles per year. Most of the others are of the disposable variety with 200k miles are and requiring significant repair before using. Make no mistake - It’s a used car sold in 1997 and it has miles, I am not making any claims of it being perfect, head gasket just gave up so it is not in running condition but it will crank and it could go a mile, maybe two (before drinking all the coolant and running hot) ... but it’s as good as a well-loved and well kept vehicle with a bad head gasket can be at $1200 - My Odyssey passed both the VA Emissions Inspection and the VA Safety inspection in May 2019 ... it is ready to register and title at any DMV. - Once the head gasket issue is addressed ... My Honda Odyssey is ready to drive and requires no additional parts or repair in order to enjoy it. It’s 100% functional. - The interior has no rips, tears or odors. A good cleaning would make it look brand new. - The air conditioner is very cold and the temperature gauge holds steady at the median even through heavy traffic. It’s automatic transmission shifts through the gears without protest and the factory AM/FM/Cassette w six speakers is made by Alpine and is very retro cool - upgraded18’s with performance tires in good condition - upgrades suspension with new coil-overs (springs & adjustable shocks - new) - new radiator, new starter, recent alternator, recent battery - Given it’s old enough to drink, the body is straight and she looks good for her age. Had some rust issues (not structural) but rusted areas were treated to half the spread
