Description

Two ticket stubs from the historic Wrigley Field 1988 1st night game under the lights. Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Philies on 8/8/88. The two almost 35 year old ticket stubs are in excellent condition. The color on the front is vivid, and the stubs have no creases, wrinkles, stains, or staple holes. The back of the tickets are in excellent condition, too. The Chicago Cubs played only day games until 8/8/88. Finally, the Chicago Cubs played the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1st ever night game. Ninety-one year old Cubs fan Harry Grossman was chosen to turn on the lights. After counting to three, he flipped the switch, and announced "Let there be light". $45 for both tickets. Cash only, please.
