What a disappointment. Two weeks ago, my parents bought a used Honda Fit from West Hills Autoplex, then were kind enough to gift it to me. At the time of purchase, the sales staff assured my Mom and Dad that the vehicle had been inspected by their Service Department, and that all routine maintenance (oil change, fluid checks, battery inspection, etc.) had been performed prior to the sale. THIS WAS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL LIE. My "ready for sale" car hadn't even been vacuumed; there was dirt caked around the inner seal of the hatchback, and all of my floor mats were missing. Then, just days after purchase, my car wouldn't start. I inspected the battery and discovered that the positive connector and post were covered in corrosion (see photo). Luckily, I was able to clean most of that off, and my car started right up afterwards. Now fast forward to yesterday... and my scheduled maintenance light turns on. My car is telling me that it's oil life is at 15% and I'm due for an oil change. Is this some kind of joke? I've owned this car for less than 2 weeks, and it already needs an oil change? Even though it supposedly got one 3 weeks ago? Yeah... I don't think so. The West Hills dealership didn't clean my car before they sold it. They didn't inspect my battery, either. And they sure as hell didn't change my oil... but they pretended that they did. I have no interest in shopping at an establishment that does their customers dirty the way that West Hills did my family; so the next time I'm in the market for a new car, I'll be taking my business anywhere but there.

TL/DR: If you're looking to buy a vehicle with your hard-earned dollars at a business that puts their customers first and conducts itself with honesty and integrity, don't shop here.

Danica was very friendly and helpful. Took us right to the car we wanted to see and was up front about its state and why it was cheaper to help us make a decision. We left to look around on our own and she came promptly when we called for a test drive when we found something better. Left that day with a new truck.

I would give Colin and his team 25 stars if possible! From first entering the department...then the shuttle ride (thank you Scott) to and from home...everyone was so professional AND lovely! One star because I can’t give zero. Today I went in to test drive a couple of cars and I made it clear from the beginning that I was not interested in buying a car on that day, but I needed to see how I liked those vehicles. Even if I loved one it would be impossible to buy because I would need to trade in my current car which I did not have with me. At first the salesman made that seem totally fine, they helped me test drive and offered to find the trade in value of my car. After the test drive they told me it was impossible to find the trade in value without running my current car against the numbers on a car at the lot. Since I need to know the value I let them run it against a WRX I test drove. They proceeded to tell me it was impossible to run numbers without a down payment amount. After coercing me into giving them a number I said that I was ready to leave and repeated for the millionth time that I did not want to buy any car. My salesman stood up and sternly  told me I was not allowed to leave, and that it was against their policy. He said that I had to speak to his manager and that he would be fired if I left when I wanted to. Felt like harassment. The manager then came over and continued to give me a shake down about buying the car. They were both visibly annoyed when I said I was not going to be buying it. It felt rude and uncomfortable. I will never be coming to that store again.

I understand the need for sales tactics, however I should be able to get a trade in value without having to give them my information to run on another car. I should also be allowed to leave at any point.

I would not recommend anyone seek out salesman Cole McCarter at the west hills Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram.

Bryan was a stellar salesperson who helped us find the right car at the right price! The dealership was very respectul to my family and was amenable through the whole process. They even gave us an above expected trade-in value!
