I completely rebuilt this computer from the ground up a few years ago, and it works fantastically! Plenty of power for standard usage such as HD video streaming, internet, productivity, light gaming, etc. While the case was originally Gateway, everything inside has been replaced. A custom ASUS AM2 board sports an AMD Athlon II X4 2.8ghz quad core processor with 8GB of DDR2 800mhz Ram in Dual Channel. Paired with a modern solid state drive and a GT 430 video card, this computer can easily handle a few content while multitasking. This is all kept cool and quiet with a cooler master CPU cooler, and Arctic cooling rear fan with rubberized mounts. Although I professionally refurbish computers, this was rebuild a few years ago as one of my personal home theater machines. I have sense to move and no longer need it for this purpose.
