Was told at purchase that this was a bar in an officer’s club in Germany for American forces after WWII - see last photo. Trying to find similar pieces on line and most came back as potentially it being from Czechoslovakia and being a wash cabinet. I originally purchased this cabinet about a year ago and it was in rough shape. My intent at the time was to turn it into a vanity for a vicotorian house my wife and I were looking to buy. Our plans changed and we decide against the house and so no longer needed the vanity. It sat in storage for months until I recently decided to clean it up and restore it back where it could be used as a bar again. Stripped three layers of paint from the galvanized metal top, fixed a broken shelf and missing veneers, added new rear feet, and followed all with a 320 grit sanding and three new coats of lacquer. $375 or best offer 31 1/4 inches wide 21 inches deep 35 1/2 inches tall
