I do not know identity of carver. 2. Age – Appears to be more contemporary (likely late 20th–early 21st century). I bought in 1980s. 3. Detail & Quality – Intricate carving, fine painting, realistic proportions, and traditional dress add value. This Sun Kachina is colorful, detailed, and well-finished, which raises it above mass-market tourist pieces. 4. Size – Larger dolls (over 12–14”) usually command higher prices.
