First introduced in 1992, the BB75 has proven popular with 5-string bassists that want a contemporary design, superior balance and unsurpassed playability. In late 2008, the BB Series underwent a design change - working with Bunny Brunel, the upper horn was reshaped, with the cutaway being reduced by 1/2", and the horn thickness increased by 1/8". This adds a few ounces of additional mass near the center of gravity of the instrument, which improves the balance while maintaining the unique look of the bass. The BB75 active bass is built to the highest possible standards with features found only on high-end and boutique basses, without the boutique price.
