For sale is a Gretsch 5.5x14 Crystal Tone snare drum with die cast hoops. This black nickel over steel snare drum sounds fantastic and reminiscent of Jimmy Chamberlain’s snare sound on Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins. It’s heavier than most chrome over steel drums that I have played, coming in at 10 lbs. It’s in excellent condition with a few light marks on the shell. The batter head still has life but could be changed out. Price is firm, please. Cash only. No trades, please.
