It is rare to find a complete set in good original condition of any MCM bedrooms. Chances are, maybe a couple a year. Genova was a nyc company that specialized in solid, walnut bedroom sets. I have been told they also made furniture for the Executive suites of the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. There isn’t a lot of information on the designer, though different people over the years say Parvin was involved. Sadly, I’m downsizing and do not have the space this exotic baby needs. It can be a king or a queen, depending on placement of the nightstands. The headboard is 110” wide. There is a credenza, a tallboy and a two nightstands with glass custom cut for the tops. Overall it is excellent condition considering it’s age and when put together it makes people gasp. In the right house it will be a stunner. I will not break the set apart. You will find Genova pieces at the top resellers. I tried to sell it to one of them, but they offered so pitifully little to me. 1st dibs has several headboards currently for sale for more than I want for the set. Interestingly, this furniture is being rebranded by the resellers under the name of “Nakashima Style” as the headboard resembles a more commercial version Nakashima did for Martinsville. Interesting. Also, it is now Called “kagan Style”, I can’t quite see it, but it must sound better to the sellers. I am asking $4,600.00 for the whole set. Think of this as a labor of love, if you are one of those rare people who has the house, the big bedroom, and wants authentic furniture, not retro’s. The set is located in Atlanta, Georgia and will be pricey to ship but with good planning, patience and coordination. It does need a little work, the headboard has one digit in the edge, three small chips in the bottom edge which would be covered by the mattress. The credenza has pointed drawers and curved doors, craftsmanship you rarely see. The tallboy could be easily converted into a bar, or store socks, your choice. The two nightstands have some damage on one door which I’m looking to repair. I have extra matching veneer in a shelf that matches perfectly. I will correspond back to serious questions, but please, let’s not waste each others time. Buyer must pick up and be responsible for all shipping. Wish I could do this beautiful set justice, but I can’t.
