This unique mid-century five drawer chest was designed by Leo Jiranek and Ernest Herrmann and produced in the early 1950s for Heywood Wakefield. It features beautifully sculpted drawer fronts with integrated wood pulls. It has gently rounded edges and sits on a pedestal base. It is in very good condition for its age but does show some wear (cosmetic damage to finish). We have a matching dresser with a mounted mirror available for $1,250, see listing for details. The chest is 48in tall, 38in wide and 19in deep. Hope Furnishings is the retail program of NW Furniture Bank. We are a nonprofit organization and all of the proceeds from the store are used to help us provide furniture and other necessary household items to local families and individuals in need.
