Selling my 1998 Seadoo Challenger 18’ twin 800cc Seadoo motor jet boat. These are getting harder to find in good shape. This is an excellent example of a well maintained boat, but it does need a little work. $$$$ please save yourself and I from the low ball offers. I’m just not interested. $$$$ - will consider trades, but has to be in my favor. Testing market to sell as is - Please read Entire add - Thx Interior - Over all cosmetically there are a few spots on the interior that show age and has a few tears here and there. You can see some of it in the pics. - The primary large padded tanning deck is very nice. - Overall it’s a pretty nice original interior with a few seasons left, or longer if you take good care. - I just put a brand new Hydro Turf rubberized floor kit down to eliminate slips / falls. Accessories. - Boat has a lot of storage in many areas. - Has seating for 7, but I have had 8 people on it. - Has a 2 speaker stereo system - Cup holders everywhere. - Built in cooler and more. - floor lights which are awesome - Boat has an OEM boat cover - comes with anchor - 2 season old large Marine Battery - I’m sure there are many things I’m forgetting Mechanical Features- - Before the season I had all 4 carburetors taken off and rebuilt with OEM parts - I had Pumps taken out, inspected for maintenance items, replacing anything required - OEM parts - I had the carbon seals on both pumps housing / drive shaft area’s replaced with OEM parts - one of the motors had a new starter installed. - Motors are Both Seadoo 800cc 2 stroke. There is a separate injection tank for oil - Both motors on the Boat start right up, but one motor has low compression in the rear cylinder. - Compression is 150 / 150 in passenger side motor - perfect. - Compression is 150 / 110 in drivers side motor - runs but needs fresh top end. - This is a maintenance item with 2 strokes.
