Description

Made of sturdy tiger oak. Estimated from the early 1900s. Very comfortable cushion and upholstery are not original but also very old - cushion is in great condition and very comfortable, but upholstery is fading and starting to fray on seat (see photos). Creaks when rocked due to natural wood shrinkage. I think it sounds nice but it’s up to you to decide what to do about it, if anything! Back has some splits and other minor damage (see photos). Stands 3’6” tall, 2’4” at the widest part across the arms, and 2’9” long. We love this rocking chair, but it is just a bit too big and doesn’t fit our space stylistically anymore.
