Description

Overview: Up for sale is this a fantastic oil painting on canvas depicting a lovely rustic, pastoral country scene depicting a river with a docked boat in the foreground and a meadow with mountains rising above. There is a small cluster of homes just under the mountain. The painting is singed "Sanches" at lower left. The detail and brushwork are amazing. Has a very vintage midcentury look, but based on canvas age, I'd date this to the 1980s or later. Framed in a really cool distressed wood frame that really enhances the rustic feel of the piece. Condition: Painting is in excellent condition. Frame has some minor scuffing. Measurements: Painting measures 10 inches wide x 8 inches high. Frame measures approximately 15 inches wide x 13 inches high.
