I run a bike business specializing in refurbishing used bikes and customizing new bikes, parts and tech service This is a new Mongoose Salvo 29er trail bike. 16” frame for rider 5’4” to 5’8”. The original bike retails for $1500. The base model is the one you see in the stock manufacturer photo. This one I am selling firm for $780 (50% off) assembled and tuned (bike shops charge $80-100 for this). It’s a great starter bike and as you can see by the next tier, it’s a good skeleton to put upgrades onto. It has Shimano 2x9 drivetrain, Tektro hydraulic brakes, coil fork, rear air shock, and Kenda wire bead 2.2” tires. The tubeless WTB 30mm wheels are the big selling point of this particular bike. To buy them separately to upgrade some non-tubeless bike would be roughly $320 —> $780 firm <— keep in mind that this is a full time business and I’m not cleating out the garage. I’m also covering the sales tax I’m obligated to collect as a CA seller.
