condition: excellent  make / manufacturer: Bose  model name / number: 901 Series VI  Selling a really nice pair of Bose 901 Series VI speakers. Comes with original tulip stands and active EQ. If you know what these are, then you know. If you don't, look them up. They are very unique in their design, how they connect to a sound system, and how they work in a room. Introduced in 1968 and still produced today, they are regarded by many as sounding much, much better than a lot of Bose's other offerings and competing with high-dollar audiophile setups. The system works 100% as intended and sounds fantastic. The speakers are pre-wired with long lengths of very beefy audiophile-grade speaker wire. The speakers all sound and look great, with no signs of degrading foam surrounds. A brand new set of this model from Bose runs around $1400 They do have a few small things to apologize for:  The cabinets show some light scratches and dings, and wear. One stand is just the slightest bit loose. One "Bose" badge is missing. The previous owner applied a bit of tack to make it harder to remove the rear baffles (it's a little inconvenient but does not affect sound or function in any way). If you buy the full set for $600, I'll throw in a Kenwood amplifier that's nothing special, but sounds fine and has the right connections to easily connect everything. Please see all photos.
