Description
The plant is native to South Africa and is known for its dramatic, unique flowers that resemble an exotic bird. Strelitzia reginae typically has a smaller growth habit, with leaves around 3.5-4 feet long. Strelitzia nicolai is a much larger plant, sometimes growing over 20 feet high, and produces white flowers.
