I picked this Prophet '08 up a few weeks ago and absolutely fell in love—so much so that I immediately upgraded to its successor, the Prophet Rev2. Since I don't need both, I'm letting this one go. This is the encoder version (Sequential no longer offers the potentiometer upgrade). It’s in solid working condition and cleaned up nicely when I got it, but cosmetically it shows its age: dings, scratches, and general wear throughout (see photos). Despite the wear, it sounds amazing and works great. Included: Prophet '08 synth Power cable If you’ve been curious about the classic DSI sound, this synth is loaded with character, from huge pads and deep basses to expressive modulation options. It's a joy to play and a great way to get into analog polyphony without breaking the bank.
