This is a meticulously built tribute to the 1966, straight from Fender’s American Vintage II line aka the "shut up and take my money" series. That Lake Placid Blue finish with matching headstock is dripping in 60s cool. The Pure Vintage ‘66 pickups sound like they were soaked in reverb before they even left the factory. Bound rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dots, and period correct hardware, it plays and feels like you just pulled it off the wall at Manny’s Music in ‘66. She dang near plays herself and writes her own Cure songs. Fully set up with .5mm shim, polished frets, fingerboard oil, straight neck, intonated, waxed, and strung with 11s. The action is nice and low but it doesn't choke out when you bend notes. These brand new go for about $3,000 after tax. I'm taking $1,000 off for no reason at all. There are no dents or chips.
