Description
Cross posted. Q500M wheelchair for sale. This chair belonged to a loved one who passed away a few months back. Didn't want to see it get thrown out. It is currently in storage in North Canton, OH. I live near Cuyahoga Falls so myself and any interested party will have to work out a date to see/purchase it. I will include photos of it in this post. I also have multiple videos of it as well, too many to post here. Just ask if you would like to see them and I will send them your way. On 5/15/25, I personally went to the unit and test rode it, took it through it's various functionalities, and visually looked for any defects such as cracks/broken pieces or excessive wear. All functions work, via the joystick and also the box mounted on the rear near the headrest. The damage I have observed on it is that the small clip on the right side armrest appears to have been busted off at some point (this is the clip that allows the armrest to be lifted up and back). The only cracks I found were the couple near the display screen but these are not compromising the integrity of the control box. Minimal wear is visible in some spots from being pre owned and used, such as on the arm rests. Suspension does not show any cracks or broken pieces and it rode good when tested. I also buckled the seat belt and tried to push forward hard with my body and it held good, did not rip nor snap. Additionally, I tried to loosen some bolts/nuts by hand but none budged, all were tight. The motors are noisy but I always observed this noise when I was at the previous owners apartment, and it is more intense at higher speeds, however, it was a normal noise that I noticed in general. I spoke to the owner on a regular basis as we were good friends and he never had told me that any repairman mentioned it was an issue to my memory. Miller's Rental and Sales located on Tusc in Canton were the ones that did repairs/maintenance, and I am in the process of having those records sent to me for anyone interested. Chair functionalities/accessories: - Functioning Horn - Left arm rest can be unhooked and lifted up - 5 Speed Profiles, each having 5 sub speed settings - Tilt, Recline, Recline With Legs (Recline and leg movement at the same time) , Centermount, and Extend Legs - Footpads that can be kicked down and back up - Hole near right armrest can have attachments inserted (previous owner had a food tray that could be inserted for eating meals) - Adjustable Headrest -Seat Belt - 4 Hooks for tie downs/straps - Top Speed of about 5.5 MPH Chair can also be placed in neutral and pushed by hand if needed (see video). It will also come with a charger. I do not know how long it takes to full charge. It currently has just over half battery capacity left. I also do not know the official weight capacity but the gentleman that had it was 250 lbs at his heaviest and it always worked good for him, including getting him in and out of handicap vans various times over the years and also over ramps at the apartment complex he lived at. It can also be driven onto a gaited trailer for transport if you have one. The cheapest one of these chairs I have found online was just under $700, and it did not even look to be in as good of shape as this one. Most of them I have found are $1200-$2000, used. This is everything I could think of to include in the post. If there is anything I have not listed, or if you have any additional questions/inquiries, feel free to contact me with them. NOTE I am not telling you this chair is 100 percent, nor am I making any guarantees about it. I have inspected it to the best of my own personal abilities, but that does not equate to a true certified repair person's inspection of it's condition. It is always possible that there is a defect I have not found or am not aware of. You , as the buyer, will purchase the chair with full knowledge that no guarantees have been made to you by me, the seller, and that you have been notified of any and all defects I have found, and the general condition of the chair. You also acknowledge that you read the description listed in the posting, and that I have offered you the opportunity to ask any questions about the chair that you might have. I will also require you to sign a paper acknowledging this, and we will make a copy for each of us. Chair is sold AS IS
