Vintage 1972 Selmer Mark VI Alto Saxophone

Phenomenal 1972 Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone in great condition. This horn is a player! Even before I had it fully overhauled I could tell it was a good one, and now on new pads and with a full setup it absolutely sings. Fat, warm, responsive, and with no shortage of volume or projection to spare, this alto outplays many other more desirable alto makes and models, and even vintages of Selmer I've come across. It's in gorgeous condition with ~95% of its original lacquer remaining and sharp engraving, suffering only from some spots of corrosion around certain keys and key guard solders (pictured). As I'm slightly partial to the character of my earlier mark vi alto, I'm reluctantly moving this one along so it can be played - it really should be! Comes in original Selmer tray-pack case with clarinet compartment in excellent condition, original Selmer plastic end plug, and vinyl case cover in poor condition.
