Description

This is an antique chair that I have seen selling for much more than listed. We hope to have it go to a home that will appreciate its value and history. North Wind chairs, which often feature carvings of the wind god Aeolus, were popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The chairs were part of the Mythical Revival furniture style, which also included carvings of mythical creatures, animals, and fantasy figures. The style was popular during the late Victorian era and into the early 20th century. We will consider reasonable offers.
