Intermediate/Advanced Student Violin by Hong Sung Woo with Case and Bow

This Violin is a workshop violin by a renounced luthier in South Korea. He is considered a top luthier in the nation.The model is an old imitation model, where it is looked liked to be aged for aesthetic reasons. The varnish looks amazing while the tonewood is heavily flamed, with a one piece back with a very warm sound. The bridge is new and has been refitted recently by local luthier Paul Lim, with an old, aged bridge I picked out myself. ($100 value) The violin is set up and ready to play. New set of Dominant Strings are installed at my discretion. I am regretfully letting this go as my skills are outgrowing what the Violin can offer. I paid $1000 for the instrument in 2013. For the price, you won’t regret it. I would describe the tone to be direct, with some warmness and sweetness mixed in. I will take lower offers, but please offer reasonably.
