DOD FX17 - Volume/Wah - Guitar effects pedal

Great wah pedal. It’s the same model Joey Santiago used with the Pixies. It’s in good working order with normal wear. These are getting harder to find. Here is a product review from reverb: This is a cool little wah that sounds different from the vox/crybaby type. I think the mechanism is to use a variable capacitor to shape the tone, rather than the resistor-inductor setup of most wahs. The sweep is pretty broad, so you have to use smaller movements and vary the range, depending on the range of notes you are playing. Turns 'on' in heel-down position, which is backwards from most pedals, and there's neither a 'click' nor an LED to tell you it's on, which is a bit of a down-side. It's smaller than the typical wah but still big enough to make it easy to use. Volume pedal mode works well, but you need to reach down to switch from VOL to wah and back. Power jack is not the 'standard'; it's a 1/8" jack. Buy this one if you want an 'odd' sounding wah in an historical package.
