Description

Fabulous, unique Victorian or American antique needlepoint framed panel. This looks about the right size to have been a fireplace screen at one point, and was perhaps framed as it is now. There are 45 symbols on this piece and it is signed AA at the top. Symbols include, a candle stick, roses, birds, horn with tassels, bugs, cherries, goblet, key, cards, fish, cup, plants, crown, cross, bible, American flags, harp with book, wreath, rooster, sailboat, jockey on horseback, guitar butterflies and probably a few I missed. There has been repairs to to the areas with the black background, but they don't take away from the overall aesthetic. It measures 21 1/2" wide and 23" high.
