This is a beautiful clock with a rich “vintage” feel. It is difficult to photograph due to the reflection off the glass, so the photos here don’t do it justice. It is in immaculate condition as it was hung up in our bedroom when new, then not touched since. It would make a great statement piece positioned low on a wall, hovering just above an accent table, and grouped with coordinating decorator pieces. One reason I love this clock is its light weight. It doesn’t need to be hung on a stud, so can be positioned anywhere on your wall. I used a small finishing nail, which barely makes a hole. Though this clock is made of lightweight polyurethane (hard plastic), it has the look of heavy metal and wood. The face of the clock is embossed with scrolls and floral details. The roman numerals enhance the vintage look. The black frame is lightly brushed with a burnished gold, & is double-edged in gold – outer edge has a classic pin-dot pattern; the inner edge has the appearance of carved wood. It has deep brown, gold, and bronze tones; surrounded by a black frame, and protected by glass. Fits easily in many décor, including Traditional, Architectural, Vintage, and Eclectic.
