Sissoo Spinach Plant (Edible)

Each 1-gallon pot has at least 6 rooted stems of edible Sissoo Spinach (Alternanthera Sissoo). Others sell 2-3 unrooted stem cuttings for $12, so my plants give you 3-4 times as much for 40% cheaper. My plants are not only far cheaper, but they're established plants fully rooted in quality soil (not new cuttings in yard dirt like some sell). Therefore, you'll have some to eat far sooner than from unrooted cuttings. Sissoo is high in Vitamins B2, B6, C, E as well as nutrients Iron, Calcium, Folate, Copper, Potassium, Magnesium, and Manganese. The soft leaves have a mild taste that's great raw in salads, sandwiches, etc. and can also be cooked like traditional spinach (sauté, stir-fry, steam, etc.). Sissoo is among the best edible plants for Florida, since it can handle both the extreme heat and the occasional dips into freezing.
