Description
Babe Ruth stepped up to the plate in the Third Game of the 1932 World Series at Wrigley Field against Charley Root of the Chicago Cubs, the Score 4 to 4 with one Out in the Fifth, with two strikes in the count, held up two fingers, grinning, and pointed dramatically to the center area of the bleachers and then hit a Home Run precisely into that location. This vintage, 19 x 25 inch, poster, is a reproduction of a reproduction of that famous painting ("The Mighty Babe" of that classic moment painted by Robert Thom in 1976), that was inscribed and signed by Lefty Gomez.
