Long story short, I bought a new one at Home Depot which are at 480$ - I found one online for half the price so I purchased it. Once it arrived, I realized I bought a refurbished one. It didn’t come in an original box. I attempted to return it but they end up saying it’ll cost them too much money and told us to keep it for fraction the cost. I am still using the new one. It’s a good portable air conditioner.
