1924 Steinway Model OR (sometimes called L) R stands for Reproducing or Player Piano. New-York Grand Model L Mahogany (varnished) Player Piano (Aeolian Model OR), length 6'5", completed and delivered to The Aeolian Company of New York City on April 15, 1924. Steinway made grands and uprights with extended cases for the Aeolian Co., who installed the Duo-Art reproducing mechanism. The model OR used the model O and, later, model L scales.
