Description

2003 Coleman Taos 8' box pop-up tent camper/trailer. 17' when expanded. Dry weight: 1205 lbs, 6' wide and incredibly easy to tow. Great condition for age, two full size beds, two bench table that converts into another full size bed (with storage under seats), sleeps 6 adults, sink with pump-style faucet, external gray water bag, internal 3-4 gallon water tank, powerful gas furnace (extends the camping season), homemade exterior towel rack, 20 lb propane tank, indoor/outdoor 2 burner stove, 12v battery and 30amp electrical service (and a 15amp plug adapter). 2nd owner and cheap to insure. Comes with Awning (which needs to be reattached to railing, sun rot on the enclosing bag) and Add-a-Room enclosed cabana that attaches to the camper. We have used an improvised awning using handmade rail holders, a tarp and tent poles. Worked for us. Happy to leave the rail holders with the camper. The not-so-great: previous owner damaged the front ABS cap, but did a great job applying heavy duty weatherproof tape to keep it from leaking. ABS is unfortunately difficult to patch (look at YouTube), but this fix has been great so far. One of the curtains needs reattachment to a couple of holders they're on - we're not good at sewing, so it remains a to-do task. When first opened, the camper has a slight dill pickle smell. Not sure where that came from, but it was definitely from previous owner. We've tried everything we can think of to get rid of it, but it remains. Only when the camper is first expanded, smell quickly dissipates (and at least a pleasant smell!). Optional: Cassette Toilet (1 yr old) that stows easily in entry storage cubby, comes with a pop-up privacy tent - yours for free, if you choose to take it. Makes boondocking easier for the wife and kids. This was a fantastic introduction for our family into trailer camping. With 5 people, it was a tight fit, so we've upgraded to a hardside trailer for longer trips. Clean Colorado title. If ad is still up, it's still available. Price is firm.
