For sale is an awesome 1999 American Silver Eagle Proof Dollar in its original Mint packaging. The 1999-P Eagle is a semi-key date of all MS Eagles because it was the second to last year the Proof Eagles were minted at the Philadelphia Mint. All years after that began mintage at the West Point, and some in San Fran. It also has one of the lowest mintage numbers of just 549,769 coins. That increases the value of the coin and makes this one of the most sought-after of all the Eagles! And like all Eagles, it is one full ounce of .999 fine silver. As you can see from the pics the coin is in amazing condition. Since Silver Eagles are not circulated coins they always grade at PF-69 or 70 -- and it really is impossible to tell the difference between the two. It has that gorgeous mirror-image finish with frosty ultra cameo reliefs you expect from high quality Eagles. The coin has no toning at all or major blemishes.
