French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Belle candelabra.

A superb and extremely high quality French 19th century Louis XVI st. Belle Époque period Brèche Violette marble and ormolu candelabra the candelabra is raised by a square base with concave corners, a stepped design adorned with wrap around beaded and berried laurel ormolu bands. Above the socle shaped pedestal supports the elegantly shaped body it encased by charming palmettes with richly chased ormolu mounts connected by intricately detailed swaging floral garlands. Above are stunning arrays of ormolu branches with leaves and blooming flowers leading to the 10 impressive floral candle cups. All original gilt throughout. It has been modernised to electric with out negative affect to value of the piece or its amazing presents. Truly a rare find. It was purchased by my Uncle from the estate of one of the greatest legends in entertainment Mr showman himself due to copyright issues and legal reasons I’m unable to disclose who owned this wonderfull piece But how he adored his candelabras. It has been in storage for over 25 years and only after my uncle passed were we able to find where he had stashed all of the pieces that were missing and presumed lost. Guess he was telling the truth
