This is a True Dinosaur!! 1970 and sat for over 50 years and the clock was NEVER ASSEMBLED! The weights and chimes have never been removed from their boxes. This clock was sold by the Elgin Clock company in Chicago Illinois. ( a division of the Elgin watch company up in Elgin Illinois , which closed a few years earlier) I challenge you to find another Elgin long tube, chiming Westminster clock like this one. This is a one owner clock. The family purchased the clock in 1970 and it just sat there in the same spot for all of these years since then. They have now sold the house. EXTRA….
