Selling my collection of baseball cards from when I was a kid. Selling the entire collection , no time to sell them individually and post on collectors sites and watch online auctions . Not positive how much taking the time to do that would be, but I know for sure The unopened packages of TOPS are the ones Guys are paying $150 each for , since the chances of There being a very valuable card in the set is high!! Being unopened is the key , which is rare I have talked to a few collectors regarding this post And they have been buying and selling cards for 40 plus years and it reminded me why I don’t want to Deal with these cards I treasured as a kid , are picked thru and 95% of them never given a second look Those guys are in love With making money NOT THE EXCITEMENT. Doubt anyone can trust a stranger , but one of these cards are valuable and will be a pretty awesome story Someone will tell , and I’m addicted to that I was not going to put any of this in post , but it’s Really scary how impossible it is to relay the trust When taking with potential buyers 1 guy that came to look at cards at my home Had his buddy with him who instantly asked me About the Valuable card , most people aren’t Aware of history with this player The buddy knew it may be a cool card and prob worth Some money !?? His friend offered me $60 and I told him respectfully I may just keep them if no one buys them 98.7 Bobby bones will be taking about all this Tuesday Dec 3rd Hope some of the really rude hustlers I was contacted by are listening It all came down to someone would have to know and love baseball and the story this card and player had And how hard it is to do something really really nice For someone Guess in my head some kid would rake leaves all summer and come up with most of what I’m asking And find out how special one card is!! Who knew I was such a romantic
