I love this camera but I’m just not using it at all. It’s just sitting around. The lense is in amazing shape!! The glass is Scratch free!! I took care of this lense with my heart and soul. There are only 2 small paint chips on the side and the nob to attach the hood is missing a painted small circle cover, you should be able to see it in the photo. Also there are some scratches on the silver plate that says Canon 300 f/2.8 etc.. The bottom of the tripod ring has regular wear and tear under it. Some of the paint is chipped under it. Aside from that it’s awesome condition. I would give it an 8.5 out 10 and 10 being mint condition.
