2013 Ford Police Interceptor Utility (aka Ford Explorer Police Interceptor) is a purpose-built, pursuit-rated SUV for law enforcement, based on the Ford Explorer but heavily modified for durability, performance, and officer safety. Featuring upgraded suspension, heavy-duty components, ballistic protection, and advanced safety technology. Great condition for these types of "retired" police vehicles. Recent buyers inspection 10/23/25 at Automedics in Kirkland: Front brakes at 80% remaining and rear brakes are 15% (We checked this and rear brakes are at 50% so this may have been a mistake on the report). Did not find any oil or coolant leaks. Spark plugs have been changed out at least once. Suspension is in good condition. Transmission fluid looks good. Drive belt is showing signs of wear but not terrible. Overall vehicle is in good condition! Things we have done to the vehicle: Installed 2nd row seats and seatbelts, and sealed holes in roof where police lights and antenna were. Tires are in great condition so they have many miles left to go before needing to be replaced. Need to fix seam tears in the driver side arm rest (common issue but an easy fix). See picture. Will be working on that fix this week. This SUV looks and drives excellent and the added safety features and AWD make you feel very secure on the road. Come check it out!
