Technics SU-A8 Pre-Amplifier The Technics SU-A8 is a Stereo DC Control Preamplifier with frequency response of 1Hz to 20kHz. It features low total harmonic distortion (0.002%), a variety of input sensitivities for different sources (MC, MM, line), and outputs for line-level devices and preamplifiers. It is a DC-compatible pre-amplifier. The SU-A8 is part of the critically acclaimed Technics ‘Studio Collection.” Features include: Fine-Adjustment Motorized Tray, Straight DC/via Tone Selector, Multi-Source Recording Mode, Multi-Source Selector, and Fader Control. This unit is in very good condition, with only very minor signs of use and aging (please see photos). Priced to sell at $249. The SU-A8 weighs 10.5 lbs. and measures 16.9" W x 2" H x 14.4" D. This pre-amplifier is in regular use within my sound studio (media room) and is only being sold due to a major medical situation forcing us to dramatically downsize.
