This is an original 1922 Sellers Hoosier kitchen cabinet in good vintage condition. These iconic Hoosier cabinets were common in American homes in the early 1900s and were considered an essential tool for kitchen organization. This particular cabinet has the classic flour sifter, space for spice jars, and enamel work surface. There is shelving for organization as well as drawers for utensils and containers. The cabinet is made of solid wood (believed to be oak) and has a charming distressed finish. There are ornate details on the door and side panels. Everything is original on this piece. All the hardware and accessories are present. The cabinet does show some wear consistent with its age, including some scratches and minor staining, but overall is in nice shape. It measures 70 1/2 inches high, 41 1/2” wide, 28” deep - or 33” deep with the enamel top pulled out. These antique Hoosier cabinets are hard to find, especially with all original parts intact. This would make a fabulous conversation piece and add vintage farmhouse charm to your kitchen.
