Royal Nippon / Morimura Brothers hand-painted vase, dating from the early Nippon export era (circa 1891–1915). This piece features an exceptional hand-painted scene of birds in flight over cherry blossoms, detailed with raised moriage enamel and twin gold-accented handles. The artwork quality is high, with fine brushwork and vivid colors typical of early Morimura/Noritake production. The bottom is marked with the Royal Nippon Globe hallmark, used by the Morimura Brothers—the founders of Noritake—before the well-known “M-in-wreath” mark was introduced. This hallmark confirms early production and is highly collectible has a few speckles on paint no chips Hand-painted factory numbers (31 / 1455) indicate the pattern and decorator code. --- 📏 Measurements Height: 18 inches Width at widest point: approx. 8–9 inches Handle-to-handle width: approx. 7–8 inches
