It has been completely stripped and refinished with the base a satin black smooth finish and the top surfaces removed of all stain and clear urethane semi gloss to let the aged beauty of the natural maple shine through. Original knobs and hinges on the small center door are the original solid brass hardware. It can fit in with most any setting and a great accent and conversation piece. Built to last a lifetime with an updated look.
