That means you can switch it to listen to whatever is right next to you if you wanna be a snoop, you need this model and I already did all the programming for you. If you buy it not from Snohomish County I can add programming as well free of charge. I prefer you come pick it up and I run you through the paces. This is not a entry-level police scanner, but I have it set up to where it basically would be your best first and last scanner you ever need. I’m just upgrading.
