1978 toyota chinook

This cutie needs a new home, as I haven’t made the time to work on it for far too long. It’s definitely a project - not an the right vehicle for someone who wants to run away on an adventure immediately. The engine is in medium shape - it has had a lot of upgrades and maintenance in the last few years but has been driven very little. It runs, though it needs a tune up and then some. The rv part had been gutted, and I have some of the original fixtures if you want to reinstall them. In a vehicle this old, I think this kind of adds to its value - as it would be necessary to overhaul the inside sooner than later. Now it’s ready for your turn. People ask, “how many miles on that thing?” and I guess I could look for you - but to the right person, this shouldn’t matter. It’s older than I am. It’s been all over the country. It has 4 gears (manual transmission) and no power steering. I have the hope that there is someone out there like me, who sees this thing and loves it, who has room and time and tools to rebuild it.
