I needed a work truck with certain accessories already installed and pacific truck center had it. I called in and asked about the truck and Christina answered all my questions that I had regarding the truck. I came in same day and spoke with Ameer the sale manager and we made the deal happen they do financing and took my old truck as a trade in. They didn’t rush or pressure me into anything and they were very professional and helpful. Overall the whole experience was pleasant and I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for work trucks/vans.

BUYERS BEWARE ILLEGAL SMOG CHECK AND MISSING CATALYTIC CONVERTER.
I purchased a bucket truck from this company mid-February 2021. I paid cash for this truck.
I took the truck to my mechanic 3 months after the purchase since it had a check engine light that would not go off (this had been a problem for a few months, but I drive this truck once a month so I didn’t think much of it at the time). I tried replacing the 02 sensor multiple times since the scanner was saying that the o2 sensor was not working. I finally gave in and took the truck to the mechanic to help me trace the problem since the wiring was fine and the 02 sensor was fine. At that point, my mechanic made me aware the truck was a missing the catalytic converter and stated the truck had been illegally modified.
It is against federal law to sell a vehicle with a missing catalytic converter, and he asked me if I had purchased this vehicle recently. I told him I had and that is when he made me aware of the laws around selling a car without it and the possible fraud.
The parts alone are $2600 and can only be obtained from the FORD dealer. when I called the dealership (Pacific Truck Center) to ask them about it (giving them the benefit of doubt) the owner started getting hostile and accusing me of removing it myself after he initially told me to take the truck up to them since it would be cheaper to repair in their area; I already had the truck at a mechanic so that was not possible. I asked him to provide me with the smog certificate  since it was not provided with the truck (but I was charged for it on the invoice); it has now been 5 days and has yet to provide me with a copy of the smog certificate and he refuses to tell me who performed the smog before I purchased the truck since he says he only has the certificate number (he says they do not have the actual certificate and refuses to tell me who they used to smog it).
This place is doing shady business, make sure if you buy here, you are having independent mechanics inspecting your vehicles before purchase.
This guy has been rude, and hostile the entire time even though I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, he even told me not to call anymore and he sounds extremely nervous every time I talk to him about the smog certificate.
I was giving them the benefit of the doubt and his behavior only makes me think that he intentionally committed fraud paying for an illegal certificate so they could sell me the truck.
I have filed a formal complaint with the proper agency and will allow them to help mediate the problem.
I have plenty of records to prove my side of the story and all I get from Pacific Truck Center is that they do not know who did the smog and they told me not to call them.
