Dewalt DW941K 14.4 Volt Heavy Duty Cordless Shear & DC983 XRP 1/2" Drill/Driver kit. This Offer Up ad is for a DeWalt shear & drill/driver kit. This kit is a custom kit that comes with a DeWalt DW941 shear (double cuts), DC 983 drill/driver, a DW9118 7.2v-14.4v NiCd charger and 2 DC9091 batteries. Let me start off with the batteries 1st as there is an issue with one of them. One is an XRP (yellow) and I have tried charging it with different chargers and it just won't take a charge, sorry to say. The other battery (black) has some paint on it but this battery is top notch with no issues whatsoever. Just works awesome, charges to full potential, everything perfect with it. Next are the shears, because, that's why you're looking at my listing honestly. They are the DW941 18ga. shear. Now they say swivel head and they might be but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to make them swivel. They cut beautifully, perform as they are intended to but I couldn't get the head to turn, not a big deal breaker for me but it needs mentioning right. The next tool is a DC983, Heavy Duty XRP 1/2" (13mm) drill/driver. This drill has no issues. It has 3 speeds, clutch/drill settings. Clutch works great, just try and hold it on the 1st speed, not going to happen. It is very strong. The owners initials are etched in the casing as with the shears also, so please take note of this. The charger is a DW9118 7.2v-14.4v NiCd charger. It works perfectly with no issues either. Please check out the photos for a detailed view of these 14.4v DeWalt tools. Well, there you have it, a nice older set for a reasonable price. If you are inclined you could always buy new 14.4v batteries.
