Description

I am selling my almost brand-new folding ebike. I am moving and sadly this will no longer work for my commute. Original cost was $2200. I have put just over 100 miles on it, and it has made bike commuting almost effortless. Folds into the trunk of a Lyft, rolls onto the light rail (even when folded) and can be carried up a flight of stairs. I'm sad to see it go, but someone will make much better use of it. I did extensive research and love this design for many reasons. The battery can be removed or left in place for charging, even whike folded. Removing the key will lock the ($500+) battery in so it can't be stolen, and it can't be turned on. Most thiefs look for an easy target. Folding and locking this bike through the wheels makes it a confounding, low theft risk. The telescoping seat and handle bars make the bike a good fit even for my 6' tall frame. The mid drive allows you to take advantage of the 7 gear internal hub, which will haul over 200 lbs straight up the steepest hills in Seattle in 1st gear without pedaling, or reach top speed more quickly and safely in traffic. It also keeps it cleaner, lower maintenance, and minimizes the risk of the chain slipping off. It is rated for 60 miles, though I was told to half that for Seattle :). I have never run out of battery, but if you do, there is no added drag to pedal it. It's like pedaling a few bags of groceries home on a standard bike. This bike was hard to find as their first production run was sold out everywhere. Let me know if you have questions. It will probably move fast. Price is firm.
